NDA 75RC Application 2023 [Updated]

This is to let everyone know that the NDA 75RC Application form for the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna, for the academic year 2022–2023 is now available. Registration will end on March 31, 2023.

Hence, applications from qualified individuals are now being accepted for the 75th regular course (Degree programs) at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) for the 2022–2023 academic year.

Round one of the Post-UTME screening will feature the NDA screening test, which will be administered at selected locations around the nation.

The tests would only be open to applicants with a JAMB 2023 Registration Number.

It is very important that you carefully read the registration details on this page before you proceed to apply. The complete application procedures for the NDA 75RC Form 2022/2023 will be covered in this article.

You must fill out the NDA 75RC form in order to apply for the 75 regular courses at the Nigerian Defence Academy.

Admission Requirements for the NDA 75RC Application Process.

Prospective Candidates seeking admission to the Nigerian Defence Academy must also register for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and indicate their first choice of the institution the Nigerian Defence Academy.

Interested aspirants should prepare for the JAMB Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME).

Candidates must meet the following requirements in order to be admitted to the NDA’s 75th Regular Course:

  1. Must be morally upright and in good physical and medical health.
  2. Must be a single man or woman with no requirement under the law to support any children or other people.
  3. Must provide a certificate of indigenous or native status issued by the state or local government authority.
  4. The minimum age requirement is 17 years old and the maximum age requirement is 21 years old as of August 2022 (the year of admission into the Academy).
  5. Must have at least 5 O’ level credits at GCE, SSCE (WAEC, NABTEB, NECO, and NBAIS) English language, Mathematics, and 3 other subjects which are relevant to the intended program at not more than 2 sittings.
  6. Must have attained an acceptable minimum national standard (as decided by the JAMB yearly policy meeting) and have passed the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME).
  7. The minimum height requirements for men and women are 1.68 meters and 1.65 meters, respectively.
  8. Arabic and French languages are advantages, as well as Mandarin.

Additional Qualifications for the NDA 75RC Application

To be accepted, you must:

  • Possess a strong academic record.
  • Qualify in the fitness assessment.
  • You must be a citizen of Nigeria by birth or ancestry.
  • You must perform well on the necessary entrance test.
  • The only results that will be accepted are those that are less than five years old.

NOTE:

  • Applications that are submitted without results from the ordinary level will NOT be considered.
  • Candidates who are awaiting results are ineligible.
  • Only results from exams at the ordinary level that are less than five years old will be accepted.
  • Only Nigerian citizens—male and female—may be admitted to the Academy, and female applicants may only join the Navy or Air Force.
  • At the Nigerian Defence Academy, cadets are full-time students, not staff members undergoing training. Upon termination or withdrawal from the Academy prior to commissioning as an officer, they shall not assert any kind of claim to any rights or obligations as employees of the agency or the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Duration and Nature of the Program

Persons accepted into the NDA’s Regular Course will complete 5 years of military and academic training as Officer cadets in the Nigerian Army and 4 years in the Nigerian Navy and Airforce.

Graduands who successfully complete their program will be awarded an honors degree in a chosen discipline (BSc, BEng, BA). They will also receive a Presidential Commission into the Nigerian Armed Forces.

Conditions for NDA Screening Tests

Only applicants who passed the admission requirements and who had UTME scores of 180 or higher for the Arts, Social Sciences, and Science courses, and 210 or higher for the Engineering courses will be permitted to print their screening test admission cards and take the NDA Screening Test at their preferred testing center.

Date & Prerequisites for the NDA Screening Test

On Saturday, April 22, 2023, a screening test will be administered as part of the Post-UTME screening process.

All qualified candidates must therefore come along with TWO (2) postcard-size (3.5 x 5 inches) photos, their Screening Test Admission Card, JAMB result slip, and their Acknowledgement Form, to the Screening Test Center.

The candidate’s Name, Exam number, Course of study, Exam Centre, State, and Signature should be included at the back of the photos, which should only be visible from the chest up.

Only individuals who pass the NDA Screening Test will then be invited to the Armed Forces Selection Board (phase 2 of the screening test), after which the list of accepted candidates will be made public.

The NDA Form 2022 Application Process

Candidates must first acquire their ORDER ID and REMITA Retrieval Reference (RRR) Code in the amount of N3,500.00 only before logging onto the application portal www.ndaapplications.net, selecting “Purchase Access Code,” and filling out their information to pay for their application via REMITA.

Please take note that only payments made using RRR Codes generated by the application portal will be processed.

Candidates who are submitting applications for admission to NDA must also submit applications to JAMB, with NDA being their top choice institution. These aspirants are expected to take the 2023 JAMB UNIFIED TERTIARY MATRICULATION EXAMS (UTME).

What’s the Next Thing After the Submission of the NDA 75RC Form?

After submitting your 75RC Form 2022/2023 application, you must now wait and see what happens. Although the application procedure can be a bit of a challenge, don’t worry; we’re here to assist.
